When I began to be interested in my ancestors, my grandmother assured me that she had our line traced all the way back to Adam! I have since discovered that so much of the information in that is more hearsay than fact. My love of this work is being able to find multiple sources for the same person and through them to find out a little about how they lived and how they died. I love to see families connected even though they have passed on. I love to know that each individual existence can be proven through documentation. I am in the middle of the toughest years of raising my own small family, but this work brings me great joy!
