First, I want to thank all the other volunteers who walk the hills and hollers and who spend those countless hours looking for the graves!!! This is hard and for those who are requesting.... always remember..... a thank you to the volunteers goes a LONG way. I am a DAR member and Veteran that enjoys going through the ages of the past. We have a lot to learn from these ancestors if we only take time to not let them disappear into the past, to be forever lost. Because in the end...... everybody has a story to tell. And I consider it an honor to help those who cannot tell theirs. It is important to find who we belong to and where they came from. This is also a part of their journey of life.
