His father is Matthew Rogers Jr. Asa's son Jesse Rogers is my gg grandfather, and Jesse's son Samuel Joshua Rogers is my great grandfather. They came up to Putnam Co. Indiana in 1822 from Ohio Co. Ky. and started a farm near Portland Mills. Looking for more info. on Jesse too. He married Elizabeth Gorham in Morgan Co. Il. in 1838.
