Bio

I send most of my time on Ancestry.com and most of my edits will be related to ancestors or their descendants in one of my trees. Amateur DNA detective with two DNA based trees for distant cousins down to the possible parents (one now in contact with her father).

Our Beyerlein (& nee Trenkenshuh) emmigrated from what is now Ipsheim, Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim, Bavaria, Germany. Still trying to link to other Beyerlein's in the US. So far in 2017, eight DNA matches for the ancestors who immigrated to Fort Wayne covering two other branches. Y-67 DNA on FTDNA.

My father's Merica/Bodey line traces back to a Brunswick (Braunschweig) Army soldier in the Revolutionary War, who's unit was hired out to the British.

My mother's Moery/Mori line traces back to the 1500's in Switzerland, complements of some Swiss cousins. Some of her other lines include at least one Union Civil War soldier, and several probable Revolutionary War soldiers or patriots.

While no male Wells in the line is available to test, ancestors would place it as W036 in the Wells Surname DNA Project. 4th cousins 1X removed in the Wells line include a USS Arizona Pearl Harbor survivor and the 5th Sergeant Major of the Army.
