I started on my family genealogy about 2 yrs. ago and have joined the So. Orange County Genealogical Society in CA. I have taken some very helpful methodology classes thru SOCCGS. We meet at a local LDS church monthly and have interesting speakers. I am hooked on genealogy. My family comes from Austria and Poland and hope to some day visit Austria with a friend whose family came from a village close to the one my people lived in. I want to do research there and in Allentown, PA.
I am retired and worked for years in a variety of admin.-type positions in aerospace. Besides genealogy, I love birding and photographs, rock art, sculpting (clay) and oil painting.
