Hello there!

When I realized I knew where my great grandmother died in childbirth with my beloved grandmother, I looked for her grave. That was several years back, but I've never found it. I suspect it was unmarked and possibly in a private graveyard.

That fruitless search started me off on genealogy very late in life. Others in my family before me have been avid, thankfully, and I have family resources to draw upon in my hunt. As an only child, I love finding relatives I never knew about and have been in touch with several of them.

I found comfort in seeing graves I could never see in person, and so joined Find-A-Grave with all you good people to pay forward the comfort to others that someone has given to me.

I'm happy to help when I can.
