Bio

I began my Genealogy research in 1968 as a way to overcome my loneliness when we moved from Sacramento, California to Minneapolis, Minnesota. I didn't realize how far I was going. From 2000 miles of warm fuzzy family to freezing cold, no friends and lands of the unknown. My husband was working with a Mormon friend and he told him of my dilemma. He said "invite me over and I'll have an answer for her". We did and he did and I'm still going strong. I love genealogy. Of course, I started with pencil and paper forms and now to .com. I like the .com much better.

One day while I was researching, I stumbled upon Find A Grave. There is so much information there. There is so much to learn. I would gladly accept any help or advice anyone has to offer. I research the lines of Syers, Russell, Chase, Southwick and Carlton on my side and Raymond, Short, Marchbanks and Norris on my husbands side. And of course various and assorted branches. I am willing to transfer anyone who isn't on one of our branches.
