Bio

Semi-retired. For 40 years or so, I was a lawyer. I retired from active law practice (still maintain my law licenses). Primarily, my law practice involved regulated transportation and fixed public utilities law. Retired from law now, I am a small business man. Prior to entering law practice, I worked for the former Pennsylvania Railroad Co. (1960s) and served briefly in the Army, honorably discharged at the rank of major, USAR. I was with the Penn Central RR from 1973-78. I've had an interest in genealogy since 1958. I became a member of the SAR in 1972. Because my ancestors (and close kin) did not move about much in the century prior to World War II, I had good luck in local genealogical research. Also, years ago, there were many still living who were "raised before radio." They had memories or grew up hearing the litany of family history recited to them in the parlor.

If anyone who is a direct family member of any of the findagrave memorials which I manage wishes to have me transfer it to them, let me know.
