I started dabbling in Ancestry research after my mum passed away (in 2012) to continue the work she had started in researching our family history – and I got hooked pretty quickly.

I noticed there were not many images for Find a Grave memorials, so – together with my keen interest in cemeteries, family history research, and photography hobby, I figured volunteering with FaG was a perfect match!

I love that a photo of a headstone can provide those missing links in a family history search.
