Bio

Like most of the volunteers for Find-A-Grave, I started out searching my own genealogy, searching for my own family. That's evolved into a love of helping others find their own families. My input to this site is 100% through photographing headstones and markers. There is so much personal history not only in the names and dates, but in the things left behind; a photo, a favorite jacket or coffee mug. I try to incorporate these things into the pictures and include them when I can as well as the specific markers themselves. If it was important for someone to leave, its important for someone else to see it, to "know" something about the person buried there. These are the things we need to pass along to the generations following us.

I am so appreciative when I find pictures of the grave markers of my family that someone has had the courtesy to post. I am always willing to return that favor and pay it forward. A random act of kindness that echoes beyond ourselves.

If I have created a memorial for a relation of yours, feel free to request a transfer and let me know your relation to the person. I am willing to transfer out of guidelines. Family belongs with family. Its that simple.

For all edits and requests, please use the edit tab. Its easier on everyone.

Above all, be nice. We're all volunteers. We're all human. Lets make good experiences for everyone.
