MAHAN SIDE OF THE FAMILY: My great grandparents were William Washington Mahan/Martha Ellen Lasley Mahan. My grandmother, Zora Leona Mahan-Underhile-Kline was the daughter of Wm. and Martha Mahan. Her siblings were William Alexander Mahan, George Washington Mahan, Biddie Bell Mahan, Elmora Ann Mahan, John Harley Mahan, Twin girls Mahan. My grandmother, Zora Leona Mahan married Eugene Underhile and they had the following children: Mary Ellen Underhile-Steffey-Skoff, Zora Mae Underhile-Becker, Lester Eugene Underhile, Edna Hazel Underhile-Skoff, Charles Franklin Underhile, George Underhile and Vera Lee Underhile-Crandall-Luke (my mother).
UNDERHILE SIDE OF FAMILY: My great grandparents were Eugene Alexander Underhile/Mary Catherine Peterson-Underhile. They had the following children: Eugene Underhile, Louisa Underhile-Beggs, James Underhile, John H. Underhile, Frank Underhile, Charles Underhile, Robert Underhile and Anna Underhile.
My grandfather, Eugene Underhile married my grandmother, Zora Leona Mahan-Underhile. Zora Leona and Eugene had the following children: Mary Ellen Underhile-Steffey-Skoff, Zora Mae Underhile-Becker, Lester Eugene Underhile, Myrtle Lee Underhile,Edna Hazel Underhile-Skoff, Charles Franklin Underhile, George William Underhile and Vera Lee Underhile-Crandall-Luke. My mother, Vera Lee Underhile-Crandall-Luke married Clarence Dallas Crandall and they had the following children: Dallas Clarence Crandall, Sharon Lee Crandall and Donna Lee Crandall.
