Retired after rearing a number of children as a single Mom. Spent 12 years as an ex-pat in Spain and then in China. Now living in Florida with my dog Pepper and my cat Niao. I am a native Californian, born in Los Angeles, CA..got married and settled in Shreveport, LA. Later divorced, I worked in D.C., as an active politician, sent to Kansas City then Denver. Tired of transfer, quit and went back to Los Angeles. I now keep myself busy painting, leather crafts and sewing stuffed dolls for all my grandchildren and their children. I finally made the Pilgrimage Camino de Santiago which had been on my bucket list. I may try it again. I expect to get more of my list done ASAP, at 90.. I have 3 living children, Jerilyn, Randyl and Scott, and one adopted daughter, Christina (who is my grandchild). I have 8 grand children, and one who passed last year, 2 step-grandchildren, and at the present (2023) 5 great grandchildren and 4 step great grandchildren. My oldest son, Michael, passed a few years back. As did three of his older brothers, Marc, Cliff and Christopher. Cystic Fibrosis for those that are curious.
