A gift from my mom:

After years of boredom and rolling my eyes as my mother talked about her genealogy research and our family tree, I found myself broken hearted and surrounded by dozens & dozens of boxes of her genealogy when she passed away in 2000. What to do?! I peeked inside a box and pulled out a file and I was hooked. It was like opening Pandora's box!

I learned to understand and fully appreciate my mom's tireless years of research in compiling our family history. Oh, how she would have loved the many resources available on the internet!

Since that day, I have continued her work and have extended my research to helping others as a volunteer.
