Bio

Many years ago I started gathering my family tree information. I utilized VISIO based on it's functionality, as I was very familiar with it based on my work. I then added an HTML document to gather and link all the pictures, events and other details associated with the members that I had the information on. After 2,400 members were added over several years, I found I had no time to continue. Now that I have retired I realize, while this documentation is extremely intuitive to navigate (see Gallagher Family Tree), it will not be practical in a touch screen environment, to be picked up and supported by my children or grand children.

I recently discovered this FindaGrave.com site, and am extremely impressed. As I transfer and elaborate my current information into Legacy 8.0, I will be adding any missing members of my Tree to this site. If you are looking at a member of your family, and my profile is attached as the creator, please let me know, we may be family! I am adding people based on a cemetery headstone picture if their last name is a key index in my own tree, even if they are not yet associated. In that case, if they are a member of your family, I will gladly relinquish control of their record to you. Best Regards and Happy Research. Dan
