I have delved into my family's history since my son was born in 1992. At one point I had amassed a tree with 3500 members. I lost it all when the computer it was on was flooded. (This was before we had CDs and thumb drives). Luckily, I had shared a large portion of my research with a distant cousin, so not all was lost. Now with the internet and the extensive databases at our disposal, I've decided to do it all again. I came across this site and I am overwhelmed at the ability to locate the final resting places of so many dearly departed. I'm getting to see markers of my Great-great parents that my Grammy hadn't seen! I may consider becoming a photo volunteer, since I've seen quite a few requests that are really close to me (but most likely after the temps drop under triple digits). If you come across any mutual relatives, I'll be more than happy to share any info I have, on them or contact intel on descendants.
