Hi I was born an raised in Western Upstate New York. In a very small rural farm community, just east of Buffalo NY. My parents and grandparents and their parents were born in an around Clay County,West Virginia. My husbands father and grandparents were from Snyder Co PA ,his mothers family is from Pikeville Ky. Coincidently my maternal 3x great grandfather was born in Pikeville Ky and moved into Tazwell Va an into Clay WV.I'm slowly gathering information on my ancestors verifying facts before adding their memorials to findagrave. I'm spending a few weeks in West Virginia this summer visiting the cemeteries documenting an taking pictures to be added to the memorials. I simply love genology!
