I was born an Arthur in the state of Oklahoma. My great-grandfather, Peter Byron Arthur, was born in what is now Huntington, WV, but he made his home early in Oklahoma and raised all his children here. He lived here for 70 plus years before his death in 1949. My U.S. Arthur roots began in Virginia and later in West Virginia and all the way to Oklahoma. My Duncan roots began in Tennessee and here in Oklahoma. My Lambert roots are mostly Oklahoma and my Chastain roots are mostly Arkansas and Oklahoma.
