Welcome to the Knickerbockers: Revolutionary Then, Revolutionary Now! Our chapter is dedicated to promoting the society's national goals of Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism.

Please Note: As part of our mission is to preserve history, we are currently working on documenting several cemeteries fully and are photographing tombstones in sections (which may mean a second photo may be added to an existing memorial). There do seem to be some glitches in FaG's transcription tool, so there are sometimes transcription errors, photos assigned to the wrong memorial, and duplicate memorials created through no fault of ours; please let us know if this is the case and we'll update accordingly when we get a chance!

Let us know if you would like a memorial transferred to you, we are happy to do so, even if you are not a direct descendant. Please include the memorial ID with your request.

Chapter meetings are held in midtown Manhattan on the first Thursday evening of each month, September through June. Prospective members are always welcomed. Membership is open to any woman, 18 and up, who can prove lineal descent from a Revolutionary War Patriot. Not sure if you have a patriot? We would love to help you find one! We hold workshops several times per year.

For meeting or workshop information, please contact us at [email protected].
If you have Find A Grave-related questions or comments, please email [email protected].
