Bio

My family has always lived in Virginia.
I have been researching for over 40 years, spent many long days at the Library of Virginia and the Virginia Historical Society
My maternal line is:West,Walker,Warren and Newcomb. I have tried to trace all of the families connecting to these families back as far as I can
My Paternal side is: Carter,Brock,Lawrence and Grubbs, again I have tried to trace back all of the connecting lines as far as I can..first cousin
I would like all of the people who over the years have given me their family information.
I would like especially thank a dear first cousin of my Mother, who would come to family events and talk about my mother's ancestor as a child I could not wait to hear new stories about the family..So a special Thank you to a man who founded the Virginia Mayflower Society, who the Tidewater Historical Society was help founded by
Mr. Hugh Smith Watson who wrote an article in the Newport News Daily Press for close to 30 years none as Climbing the Family Tree.
And also to an ancestor on my Father's side Robert Alonzo Brock for dedication to genealogy and Virginia history serving as the fiSecretary of the Virginia Historical Society and Southern Historical Society from 1880 to 1910 and writing many many books
