I'm originally from Western MA. Now I live in Los Angeles, CA. When I was very young, in the 1970s, my father worked as a cemetery groundskeeper for St. Mary's cemetery in Northampton, MA. Sometimes he'd bring me to work with him, so I've always loved cemeteries. Now, I work as a film archivist, so I'm naturally inclined to enjoy the data gathering and history-maintaining aspects of something like findagrave. I think the stories of everyone's lives are fascinating, and I'm happy to help the stories get told.

I set out originally to just link up my family, and make sure they were all represented on here to the best of my ability, but in the process, I have come across other people who needed memorials (a good deal of them are from the two churches that my great aunt and uncle's ashes are in), so I went ahead and created them. At this point, about half of the memorials I've created aren't actually relatives, so don't be shy about asking for a transfer.
