Just an FYI, if you're serious about genealogy, I highly recommend joining Ancestry. Of course it's the only professional site I've ever tried, but there is a vast wealth of knowledge over there and I promise you won't be disappointed. It's also a good idea to buy their Family Tree Maker software so you can keep all the data you collect on your own computer.
