As a little girl I spent a good deal of time with my mom's parents in NE Tx. I would accompany my grandmother to the cemetery where she would "clean the graves" She was death on grass or weeds of any kind and the graves had to be hoed and mounded several times a year. At each grave grandmother would give me a history of that person or family. I would guess that is when my love of geneolgy first sprouted, although it would take some 60 years to get into working mode.
I haven't been a Find A Grave member very long, but have really enjoyed the giving and receiving of the many blessings found on this site.
