Hello fellow genealogists. My story is short and sweet. I'm new to this site and to genealogy itself. My mother, Nona Francis, Shamrock Texas, is our family genealogist and she has dragged me into this quest, not kicking and screaming, but dragged none the less.

She and I have been on a month long trip thru Tennessee, N. Carolina, Virginia, DC and currently West Virginia. We are searching the families of Farley, Byrnside, Broyles, Barnes, Hamilton, McKeel, McLeod, Yeager, Beale and Francis.

Now I have become very interested in the disease of Genealogy, and to FindaGrave.com as well. I plan to start in my home area of Central California and help log my local cemeteries.

If any of you fellow experts out there have any cool info about any of these families, please feel free to contact me by message thru this site.

Most of all, Good hunting to All, as we can never know too much about our past.
