I was born in Tazwell County, VA and spent the first 14 years of my life in WV in various towns including Union in Monroe County and Craigmoor in Harrison County. Moved and finished school at St Clairsville High School in St Clairsville, Ohio. Attended Ohio University then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Married to Marilyn Laine while in the Corps. My son was born at the Naval Hospital at Camp Lejuene, NC. Discharged as a Sergeant. Returned to Ohio, our daughter was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio. Went to school and started employment with Jones and Laughlin Steel (later LTV Steel) and retired after 34 years in sales. Lived in nine different states and decided Texas was where I was meant to be.
