I became interested in my family genealogy over 40 years ago. Fascinated by the ornate memorials and tombstones of relatives, I wondered about the lives of the people underneath those memorials. I started compiling the information about my family and wrote it in a notebook. I finally began a Family Tree which now has grown to over 30,000 names of my extended family. I use Findagrave.com as a beginning source and Familysearch.org. for final verification. I often update my tree to make sure my information is as accurate as is possible.
Families I research are Arnold, Bila, Bonefas, Listi, Nastasi, Russo, Palermo, Patronella (All Spellings) and Pinzini. Drop an email if you need help in your family journey through time. The best advice I can give is to keep an open mind, research, verify and verify again. Census Reports have issues with spelling and dates, but can shed light on some interesting facts. If you do create a memorial PLEASE complete it. Include complete dates, cities and states and family if possible. When making correction requests be courteous and kind. If the person making the request, made a mistake, transposed a date, please be kind when responding. Drop an email back to the contributor when it is corrected or if you sent bad info, that person will be glad to make the corrections needed.
