The Bluest skies you'll ever see are in Seattle. True. We just need to clear out the overcast to see them. Our rainfall is more a rain fail. The annual moisture accumulation averages 37 inches per year, including snowfall. We just a bit wetter than the desert southwest. What we lack in accumulation is made up for in days of precipitation and description of rainfall: drizzle, shower, deluge, sprinkle... There is a mountaintop in Hawaii that averages one inch per day. Winner Winner, chicken dinner.
