I have been researching family history for 30 years. Now that I am retired it is full time. I am from Botetourt County Virginia and my family has been there on my paternal side since 1797. This would be the Booze side. On my maternal side which is Vest/Pugh/Sink, my family has been in Floyd and Franklin Counties since the mid to late 1700's. I like to concentrate on Rev War soldiers and I am a member of the DAR. I also just like finding my family in Virginia. It is a passion for me. I love taking trips back to Virginia to research. I go back and collect pictures and research data and then come back home and put it all together. I discover new info on a daily basis. I am willing to help and share anything I find. I have 3 brick walls and I intend to get them broken down! I need everyone's help to do that.
