Bio

I am a 9th generation resident of Berks County, PA, through the Zeller side of my family.

I have photographed 297 cemeteries. This includes all of the cemeteries in Lebanon County with the exception of Indiantown Gap and some old farm plots that haven't been located. The remaining cemeteries are within a 20+ mile radius of Myerstown, PA, in Berks, Lancaster and Schuylkill Counties. When doing so, I try to obtain old transcriptions, including the Gerberich transcriptions from the 1930s, and church records. Feel free to use any photos I have posted on this site. After all, most of them are just tombstones!

The Tulpehocken Settlement Historical Society (TSHS in some of my notes) has a wealth of information on Ancestors in Berks and Lebanon County PA. They have transcriptions of most cemeteries in this region. We can thank Schuyler Brossman (SCB in some of my notes) for his efforts in documenting cemeteries decades ago. He was also the author of Our Keystone Families published in local newspapers.

Life member of the Tulpehocken Settlement Historical Society. Member of the Lebanon County Historical Society and Pine Grove Historical Society.
