Many years ago I compiled a family history and have at irregular intervals updated and expanded it, as children marry and new branches are added. Not a "genealogist" per se, but I am learning the processes and tools as I get more deeply into the hobby.

The stories associated with the people in my family trees are of the most interest to me. I get many from interviewing people, but I am learning to piece together stories from the dry dates and general historical information. It's an enjoyable exercise.
