I try to take the best picture I can. I clean up debris and extra growth, sweep off the stone, and if needed, I scrub dirt, moss and lichen from the stone to make it easier to read. Some people treat this as a competition to see how many pics or memorials they can have and not worry about how bad the picture appears. For me, it's a memorial and should be shown in its best light.
