Bio

I'm happy to participate in this community of volunteers. I've found most to be kind and helpful. Paternal ancestry includes Keating, Manly/Manley, Larkin, Acker, Doyle, Whelan/Whalen. Maternal ancestry includes Hunnicutt/Huncote, Adare/Adair, Moon, Spencer, Wyke, Warren, Brumley/Bromley, Wydeville/Woodville, etc.

I'm a USMC widow and live near Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery (San Diego) where my parents and husband are buried. I go by there at least once a week, usually on my way to Cabrillo National Park.

If any memorials I've established are your family members or friends and you want to maintain them, I'm happy to transfer. It's important to document these memorials accurately and as completely as possible, and best accomplished by those who knew them. What we record now will be passed on to families and accurately documented memorials will be historically meaningful to subsequent generations.

Submitting corrections and waiting for the "gate keeper" to respond is excruciating. It seems to me that even if you are a close friend, you are eminently more qualified to manage a memorial than a stranger. I know this only too well from my experiences with my family's memorials. Self-serving Turf Lords can be infuriating. We should be a community of compassionate and supportive beings.

Also, please fee free to use, alter, delete, or repost any photos I submit to this site. I consider anything I post to be in the public domain and I don't do this to amass credits.

Have a splendid, joy-filled day!
