Due to the efforts of my maternal grandfather, a Britain, I have been able to expand on the family history. The earliest ancestors in this country were Francis Cooke and Mary Chilton. Many ancestral names include Britain, Washburn, Paddock, Baker, Snow and Jarvis. Most all are from the Massachusetts, Vermont, New York area. Any pictures I post were taken either by me or relatives long deceased so they may be used.
