Bio

I believe every generation has at least one family member that takes on the role of historian for various reasons. Usually they are fascinated by those who developed the roots of a family or individual heritage. Other individuals are trying to fill a void in who they are as an individual based on discovering his or her personal heritage. In a world of divorces, broken families, adoptions, foster care, and the ravages of historical events that split family units across the United States or across the globe. The past offers insights that created each link of the chain, which embodies our personal lives and those of our family. It allows the individual an opportunity to embrace the courage, challenges, and character of our ancestors. It allows the individual or family an opportunity to change behaviors, learn compassion, and understand that following the crowd's viewpoint on humanity should be carefully weighed in our present lives. I am the individual in my generation whose interests and desire leans towards answering those questions to give a foundation for the next generation historian to build and improve on my gathered information. I am an academic that believes we have the power to learn from the past in order to correct the future of humanity as a whole. As we become a global world due to the advances of instant media coverage, the Internet, and the development of the science of DNA. We the researchers, historians, theologians, social advocates, and those who seek the balance of reason and compassion will find these tools of Ancestry and Find a Grave as a source to pass on to the generations of the future knowledge that may allow deeper development and use of our brain capacity, thus increasing our understanding of humanity, our responsibilities towards our planet, and the generations that follow.
