Bio

I'm a sixth-generation St. Louisan (on my mother's side) who loves his city and its rich heritage. My people came to this city in the 1840s. I specialize in amateur genealogy work as it concerns St. Louis, with a specific focus on old cemeteries and burial records.

My family names: Tosto, Wolfrom, Lynch, Chambers, Mondello, Walther

I'm happy to transfer ownership of any memorial I manage, just ask. I will, however, ask you to provide proof that you're related to the deceased person in question.

I am a strict consolidator of duplicate memorials. If and when I see them, I will summarily suggest a merge to whatever memorial was created first. I do this purely for the efficiency of the site. If you see that I've made duplicates, please don't hesitate to report them.

I tend to focus on the older sections of older cemeteries. My favorite and most visited is Calvary. I also do work in St. Peter's, St. Matthew's, and St. Marcus.

Though it doesn't show on my profile, I've had over 9,000 submitted edits approved.

TO OTHER MEMBERS:
If I send you an edit request on a pre-existing memorial, you can be sure the info is 99.99% correct. This is historical research, so no one could ever be 100%. There will invariably be some guesswork involved. Be assured that I based my corrections on a system involving at least three pieces of corroborative evidence. I don't pull the trigger on an edit unless I have three pieces of evidence that suggest to me the edit needs to happen. I of course am not perfect, so I'm sure mistakes slip through here and there. If you suspect so, suggest your own edits. It's all about making the information on this site as accurate as possible. That is my passion.
