Bio

As a child I grew up next to our funeral home. I saw first-hand the brokenness families go through when they lose a loved one. There was a window that looked out onto the parking lot of the funeral home and we could see the grieving families. One of my greatest memories is mother calling to me and saying, 'we need to pray for this family'. That is where I learned compassion for others and to honor the passing on of loved ones.

As an adult, I make it a point to visit cemeteries and gravesites of family members and friends, even in other states. Family is so important to me.
