I have been involved in genealogy off and on for the past six years. After my mom passed away in March 2016, I was determined to research her side of the family which led to researching my dad's side, as well. The families in my direct line are Kreitler, Wolk, Braun, Schwent, Calliot/Calliotte, Pfaff, Jokerst (Joggerst), Grass, Beck, Gegg, and the list goes on as I uncover more pieces of the past. Most of my ancestors were laid to rest in Ste. Genevieve Counties to Festus/Crystal City to St. Louis, with some stragglers in Scott County, MO and other places around the globe. I am always happy to find new family members.
