I was always interested in old photo, but just recently started "really" digging on the family tree. So, way behind the gun, I have started researching my roots. I am interested in the Gilbert(Phobe Gilbert,gggrandmother), and Smith--as in Cap. Benjamin Smith family trees of Giles county TN. Also interested in the Burton(Paul Elmore, grandfather) and Smith(yes,on both sides). It has made me realize how much I don't know about my family, as my mom, still living , has many names committed to memory.
