I started my research because my father told us that one of his ancestors married a Cherokee "princess", but I could never find that ancestor, although each line I traced had the same story. I did find one line that went back through Thomas Jefferson's aunt Judith to Henry Plantagenet, King of England. Unfortunately, I knew nothing about genealogy or sources and was unable to go anywhere to find things for myself, so I copied everything off the internet and had fun adding names and dates, but ended up with a huge file full of mistakes and no idea where I found what. So now I am starting over and trying to put a source to everything. I was stuck on my Andrews line until I found a whole new breakthrough here. Thanks!
