I love to transfer management of memorials. Don't be afraid to ask. Please, don't transfer a memorial to me without asking me first.

I've noticed some contributors are adding obituary photos. I think that's OK but they shouldn't be saved as 'person' or 'grave'. If you use 'other' then they're saved to the bottom of the photos. It doesn't look good to have an obit as the cover photo. IMHO. It's still best to enter the obit in their bio plus you get to practice your typing skills.

***Update*** Findagrave must have checked a box. It won't let me save a memorial if the obituary mentions surviving family members. "You've added sensitive information!" Privacy concerns. It's a sign of the times. No wonder people don't want to be findagrave contributors.

I'm reviewing all of my memorial contributions. I'm removing any mention of surviving family members. It's sad but I don't want findagrave to be mad at me. I recommend that everybody should follow their advice. They're in charge after all. We're the "contributors."
