I have been visiting cemeteries of my loved ones for as long as I can remember. My parents have always put together urns with flowers each year to place at the local cemeteries. My husband and started the tradition after we were married for his mother and now for both his parents. Each year we visit multiple cemeteries where our relatives are buried to clean off and the headstones and pay our respects. I always find it interesting to read and note the other headstones the surround our loved ones. I am excited to begin using Find a Grave and have located many family members. I am very grateful for all the time and efforts that others have taken to document this history. After we have taken photos for all of our loved ones, our intent is to help with photo requests at all the cemeteries that we visit.
