Ronald was born and grew up in a small town in the wheat fields of northwest Oklahoma. He was always interested in technology and science. In 1974, he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.

When personal computers appeared in the early 1980's, Ronald began using them to compile his family genealogy. Countless hours have been spent in the Clayton Library in Houston, TEX gathering information.
