I grew up in Heron Lake, Minnesota and hung out with some of the Okabena people. I've been trying to trace the Finnegan clan back to where ever. Although I live in Kansas I get back to Mom's in Heron Lake several times a year.
I've found that Find a Grave is a great and easy way to link family members. I am currently working on the Finnegans, which is also spelled Finnigan, the Beckers, which is Mom's family, as well as the Stueves, and will get into the Henkels and Mathias soon.
