Bio

I absolutely love genealogy. I am, in no way, nor claim to be, a professional but I really enjoy visiting cemeteries, taking photo's, sitting in a library ALL day with my nose stuck to the micro film viewers reading old newspapers, looking at other genealogy books as well as visiting court houses going through all the books and info they have. I have been interested in genealogy since I was a teenager and was able to get some valuable information from my grandparents while they were still alive. I have worked on it off and on for the past 35 years and still have a lot to do. Over those years, life happens, we moved several times and lost paperwork and had to redo the work over, as well as allowing family members to "borrow" my work and never get it returned because they "lost" it!! Anyway, a lot of the info was still in my brain, I just had to do the leg work again.
Some of my direct lines that I am researching are my fathers side is Leopard, Thomas, Hall, Smith, Parks, Hart, Jennings, Etheredge, Griffin. My mothers side is Fulbright, Craig, Cole, Gosnell, Lovell, Garner, Worley, Allen and Phillips. These are mainly from Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee but a few of them stem out to Missouri, Texas, Virginia and Delaware that I have found so far.
