I have a Masters Degree in English and enjoy creative writing, snow skiing, body surfing, and traveling. I volunteer with orphan orangutans on the island of Borneo and have done so for many years as a volunteer with Orangutan Foundation International. Some of my orangutan photographs have been donated for use as playing cards in a new children's board game, The Great Apes Survival Game. A rescued orphan orangutan was named in my honor at the OFI Care Center in Borneo.
