I am researching my family genealogy. Surnames are listed in my Jamie's genealogy virtual cemetery. If you are researching the same feel free to leave me a message. Good luck with your research!

Also, I want to thank those dedicated individuals who create and maintain the memorials and take photos. You are so kind to honor those who came before us, help those of us searching for our family connections and create a lasting legacy for the future. 🌳💗

👼🏻💐🇺🇸 PLEASE LEAVE FLOWERS FOR THE KIDS IN MY LITTLE ANGELS and VETERANS IN MY FAMILY VETERANS CEMETERIES. THANKS. 💐👼🏻🇺🇸

I know some of my transfer requests are slightly outside the normal guidelines for transfer. However, I believe it doesn't hurt to ask politely. For the members who manage tens or hundreds of thousands of memorials, the workload must be enormous. I do have over 40 virtual cemeteries but feel by helping to maintain memorials in my tree I am contributing to FindAGrave's ultimate goal "to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it." I think it helps to share the workload of updates and expedite the process for everyone. There are many different types of people on FindAGrave- cemetery buffs, those wanting to honor veterans 🇺🇸, people wanting to honor past generations, people wanting to help others and family genealogists to name a few. Each type has different goals and can contribute in different ways. I want to add family links, as much bio information as I can find and any related pictures. I'm making photo requests for memorials without pictures. I haven't added many memorials because so many cemeteries have already been documented by other members and I have 2 children under 5. I add what I can and I try to fulfill local photo requests when I can. I'm not trying to get a high number of memorials, just do what I can to help make FindAGrave as awesome as possible and leave a legacy for my family and future family genealogists.

An extra special THANK YOU to the other members and admistrators who have been so kind to transfer memorials to me. I promise to take good care of them. 💕⚰️

I have unfortunately encountered some not so nice people. Everyone has to start somewhere. Just because I haven't added a lot of memorials doesn't mean I won't in the future. Most of the people I'm searching for have been gone a while and already have memorials created for them by older members. Since making duplicate memorials is not allowed (understandably) the only way to manage family memorials is to request a transfer. The 4 generation transferring guidelines are guidelines, not rules. Any memorial can be transferred at the discretion of the member managing it. You still get credit for creating it even if you transfer it. I'm not retired, I have small children and, like everyone, I'm a volunteer just trying to do what I can.

Any photos I have taken may be used for personal, not for profit use. If you want to use them in a for profit manner, please contact me for special permission. 📸
