My name is Shyann Farmer. I just recently began making a family tree and exploring my ancestors when I discovered this site, which has helped tremendously. Most of my father's paternal side of the family is from Tennessee under the name Farmer. I have yet to find much on his maternal side of the family. Most of my mother's paternal side of the family seems to be from Arkansas and Texas under Johnson and Baird. Most of her maternal side of the family seems to be from Texas under Smith/Barton. I have yet to find a whole lot on my mother's side though. I do have an ancestry page where I have a family tree set up, including close and distant relatives.
