and also look under this title in the directions: "What if I suggest a correction and the contributor doesn't respond?"
=============================================

After my Grandma Ruth Switzer Rice moved away from her family after marriage, she kept *everything* about her relation. High school graduations, new babies, marriages, newspaper clippings, letters, and on.

When she died, I found she had numerous scrapbooks (as did her father, I later learned), all well marked and labeled, but on acid paper. I spent years carefully re-making the books for each of her children, and then I was hooked on family research.

I remember a Star Trek Next Generation episode where a woman who had been cryogenically frozen was revived 300 years later. They were able to locate all her descendants on the ship's computer, complete with pictures. And this is the work we do. We make that vision possible. I'm grateful to each one of you for helping to re-create the web of which we are all part.

My family lines are Rice, Switzer, Kerslake, Hoag, Yance/Jantz, Kelly, Boules, and of course many more. I occasionally provide family research to others for a fee.

There is a rumor that our Rice lines go back to the time of Henry VII and one of our ancestors was beheaded at Tower Hill. Of course, this is not confirmed.

Happy Searching! ~ Renee

**If you see a mistake I've made please let me know so I can correct it. Thanks **
