RE: Frank Larkin
I am going to guess you are related? I removed the photo, most sincere apologies. I spend so much time on ancestry making comments like "PLEASE give credit to the photographer when you "steal" photos from Findagrave. This photo was taken by so and so. NOT honorable. I can't wait to see if i get permission from the person who stole the photo from you, lol!! Anyway, I will await the KofP's response to confirm the lodge was in Snelling in 1895, and do some other checking in the meantime. I worked with the lady who did most of Merced District, I did Calvary, and we agreed Yosemite was not in Merced, but we might have been wrong as well. So aggravating to have records destroyed. Once we establish he is in the right location, I would be more than happy to transfer, if you are related, which I highly suspect. He belongs with family.

I have inquired with the Knights twice, and will not let this go until I have received a response. You are local? How grand! I truly have never meant to be rude or insulting in anything do, so if I had previously done something to upset you, I profusely apologize. I have also asked and am waiting for, permission for the use of the photo on ancestry. I did not take anything, to the best of my knowledge from your work, and would never dream of doing so without permission. If it is declined, the photo will be removed.

RE: Frank Larkin
Yosemite Lodge No 30 was in Snelling. I have surveyed Snelling Cemetery and there are literally, unfortunately, hundreds of unmarked graves. I called the girls in Merced just to be sure, and they have checked their records, and do no have him. I don't 'plop' burials without a very good confirmation of burial.

Re: Faro Caudill
I don't feel that his birthplace and parents are certain therefore I have chosen to post the info you suggested in his bio section, giving you credit. Thank you very much.

RE: Isham Cox
You are very welcome! It was quite an adventure. I regret that there was a shadow on the stone. I tried to change the tone to get a clearer "Grandpap" but my equipment isn't that sophisticated. If you have a photo enhancement app on your computer, I would be happy to email the picture to you.

Kind regards,

Christie

RE: Julia Lee and Edward Lee
I'm glad to display these beautiful headstones.
Look at the hatching on the base of the headstone and the detail in the scroll above Julia's name.
Also see Elizabeth "Bettie" Wilson Collinson and the signature of Gaddess Brothers at the base of her headstone. It is possible that the Gaddess Brothers carved Julia's stone as well, but it was not signed.

RE: Helen Harrelson and Phyllis Cox
I am related to Helen Grace, but not Alma. Helen is my 1st cousin, twice removed. Her father, David Harrelson, is my G-grandmother's brother. I believe we've communicated before.........

RE: Annie Sansbury and Harry Owings
Hello--Annie Sansbury and Harry Owings are my great-great-aunt and great-great-uncle, so not in my direct lineage...you can surely transfer them if you wish, although I doubt I'll have more updates for them. I do think Harry's first name might be Henry, but need to get my mom's exact data source on him.

Thanks!
Jennifer
