RE: Mary Whittington
You're quite welcome; sorry it didn't work out better. I uploaded the overall plot photo to all of the other Whittingtons that had memorials.

Richardson
Beeswax,

Thanks for submitting the information for William Richardson's memorial. I have made the update.
If you have any further info for the other family members in the Richardson Cemetery, please feel free to share.

A recent update was sent for #61703285 but I did not make it yet as the member did not provide a source and has not gotten back with me.

Your help is always appreciated,
Margaret

I used a book that I bought from the cemetery originally, but if you google "A Record of Interments at the Friends Burial Ground, Baltimore, Maryland you will find several links. Is this a relative of yours? Would you like a transfer?

More on Cora Griffin Hardesty
You asked: I am showing Cora had three sisters: Amanda (1873), Ellen (1875) and Eunice (1880) (in addition to the five half brothers and sisters that I'm aware of). I hope to hear from you so we can compare notes. Thanks

I did not know about Eunice. Thanks! I have Ellen as Ella born 1876 but I could be wrong. I may have missed Eunice because the 1890 Census was destroyed, she would have been born after the 1880 Census taker came by I imagine, and by the 1900 Census Eunice was grown up and moved out. I have 7 half-brothers and 3 half-sisters for Cora, which should be accurate. All the result of Charles' first marriage to Martha Margretta Brabham, who died in 1870. Hope this helps! David Ayers

Cora Griffin Hardesty from Ayers
You asked: Are you a descendant of Cora Griffin Hardesty? If so, we are distantly related. Her grandmother Sophia Wilson Price was my great great great grandmother Sarah Wilson Richardson's sister. They were the daughters of Rev. William Wilson and Margaret Boyer.

Do you have any idea where Cora's mother Rebecca Price Griffin is buried? Cora's father is buried in Southern Cemetery in Barnesville and I will send a link.

Hope to hear from you.

Karl Whittington

Karl, Cora Griffin Hardesty was my great-grandmother. Her daughter Ethel Golden Hardesty was my grandmother. Ethel married Fred Ayers, and their son Frank Ayers was my father. So yes we are related! Great to hear from you. I have visited Southern and for some reason did not see Charles Griffin's grave, so thanks! I don't know where Rebecca Price Griffin is buried, if she is not buried at Southern. David Ayers

Only a very few markers have names and dates listed in the cemeteries at the Ridges. All the other stones are marked with just the grave number. There are no duplicate numbers in any of the three cemeteries. Since it is listed as he is buried in grave number 97 this would be his marker. Unfortunately, I don't have a list of names of who is buried where, but you may try checking with the person who created the memorial. He must have some sort of records, because he would have had to have had records to be able to create all the memorials in the cemeteries since very few names exist on the markers. If you don't feel comfortable with the marker photo or are concerned it may not be his please just let me know. I will be happy to delete it until you can know for sure. Hope this helps.

Martha L. Whittington
I was logging headstones in the Dunnegan Grove Cemetery in Vernon County, Missouri and ran across Martha L. Whittington and it appears she is the daughter of Elmer O. and Rosa Mae Loy Whittington. I created a memorial for her and tried to find her parents and it seems she may be a descendent of yours? Her memorial # is 141768896 and if this is a family member, please let me know and I will be happy to transfer ownership to you.
