A native of Streator, Mary (George) Biros, passed away in St. Mary's Hospital Monday at 10:30 p.m. following a stroke ten days ago. The deceased resided at 1202 Arthur St.
She was born June 22, 1895 in Streator, a daughter of Mike and Susan Verchimak. She married George Biros on June 21, 1917 in Streator. He survives along with three sons: Edward and Daniel of Streator and Rudolph of East Alton; a brother: John Verchimak also of Streator; and nine grandchildren.
Her parents, three children, one brother and a sister preceded her in death.
Mrs. Biros was a member of St. Stephen's parish and the Ladies Altar Society.
