Frank Lee Barak, 92, of Needville, TX, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013, in Sugar Land, TX. He was born January 11, 1921 in Columbus, TX to Joe F. and Minnie Stefek Barak.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Verna Suchma Barak; daughter, Judith Zwahr; brothers, John Barak and Leeroy Barak; and sister, Margaret Werner.
Frank served in the US Air Force during WWII. He retired from Houston Lighting and Power Co. after 15 years of service.
He is survived by his daughter, Diana Dockal of Needville, TX; son-in-law, Harley Zwahr of Needville, TX; granddaughters, Rhonda Firkins and husband, Mike, of Angleton, TX, Nicole Zwahr of Katy, TX, and Holly Dockal of Dallas, TX; great-granddaughters, Haley Firkins of Angleton, TX, and Kelsey Firkins Fiorella and husband, Sean, of College Station, TX; sister, Earlene Pollock of Rosenberg, TX; sister-in-law, Dorothy Barak of Pearland, TX; and wife, Gladys Janczak. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
